Record it once.
Give the vaccine, and the medical record, the invoice line, the stock count and the next reminder are already done. No second system to update. No catching up on records at nine at night.
Practice software for independent companion animal clinics with one to five veterinarians.
What it does differently
Four things, and they are the reason to switch
Every practice system says cloud and easy to use. These are the parts that change a working day.
One action, one event
A treatment recorded once updates the record, the charge, the stock ledger, the discharge instructions and the next due date together. Not five modules reconciled later by somebody who remembers.
The money conversation, written down
Estimates are versioned and grouped into what is needed, what is advised and what is optional. The owner answers line by line. A decline is recorded against the line it refers to instead of disappearing.
Nothing for the owner to install
A link, pick the pet, review, approve or decline. Nobody downloads an app for their dog's annual vaccine visit, and every install is somewhere the approval can die.
A bill that cannot drift
What the owner approved is held against everything the visit charges, the estimate invoice and the running tab together. Going over is allowed and recorded, never silent.
The flow
Estimate to payment, without leaving the visit
Real screens from a working demo practice, not mockups. This is the part of the day where the money conversation actually happens.
The charges add themselves up
Bloods, anaesthesia, the scale and polish. Each lands on the visit as it happens. The running total sits beside what the owner approved, while the animal is still in the room and something can still be said about it.
Going over needs a reason, not a click
An extraction takes the visit past what the owner agreed to. Nothing can be issued or paid until somebody says why. That sentence is the practice's own record when the owner rings up about a number they do not recognise.
They answer line by line
No app to install. What is needed, what is advised and what is optional, each with its own total, so a cheaper path is visible rather than merely available. Where the practice offers its own instalment arrangement, the monthly figure sits beside the lump sum.

What Vetmira does not do
Worth knowing before a demo rather than after one. If any of these is how your practice runs, we are not the right choice today and would rather say so now.
- Lab integration
- No connection to IDEXX, Antech or Zoetis. Results are attached and reviewed in the chart, not pulled in automatically.
- More than one location
- Vetmira assumes a single site. If you run two, or are opening one, this is the wrong software for you right now.
- Dose checking
- The calculator does the arithmetic and shows the whole formula. It will not tell you a dose is right. No ranges, no maximums, no interaction checks. That needs licensed drug data and a veterinary adviser behind it, and we will not fake it.
- Controlled substance register
- Products can be marked controlled and lots are tracked, but there is no DEA log. A half built one invites reliance on it.
- AI scribe
- Not today. The bet was to make recording something once update everything else, rather than to speed up typing it twice.
- Species covered
- Dogs and cats. No equine, livestock or exotics workflows.
Founding practices
Vetmira has no customers yet, and we would rather say that than invent some. The first few practices get the roadmap shaped around their working day and their migration done with them rather than handed to them.
Pricing is per veterinarian, with unlimited support staff accounts, and migration is included for founding practices. We are still setting the number with the first clinics, so it is a conversation rather than a page.
